CD digipaks are a type of packaging for CDs and DVDs. They are a combination of the CD or DVD, a paperboard cover, and a plastic outer sleeve.
The first step in creating these packages is to create the artwork for the front and back of the digipak. This can be done by using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign. Once you have created your design, it is time to send it off to be printed.
The printing process can vary depending on what you need your digipak to look like. If you want full-color printing then you will need four plates: cyan, magenta, yellow and black in order to print all the colors on one side of the package.
